Language Guides – if you’re lost in a little German village wouldn’t a few words of the local language be helpful. Don’t expect them to speak English! A wise tactic would be to take small Europe language guides for each country you visit with the most important phrases you might need such as “Where is the nearest…?” or “Where is the hospital?”
Photos – if you have a digital camera how many photos of Europe can it actually store. Will you have to take another memory card along. If you have a standard camera how many rolls of film will you take, or do you expect to buy film while you’re in Europe? Something to think about, you don’t want to run out of film if an amazing shot is just waiting for you.
Insurance – this is very important when you are planning your trip to Europe. If anything unforeseen could happen whilst in Europe, such as an injury or illness, the financial impact of hospital bills could be enormous. Give you self some peace of mind by arranging travel insurance for Europe before you go.
